Twilio is looking for email specialists that are passionate about helping our customers improve their email programs. Our Email Delivery Consultant gives our customers the tools and assistance needed to improve their email deliverability. You will identify and analyze delivery issues while educating customers on email best practices to help prevent further occurrences. You will be mastering your skill set and an in-depth understanding of Twilio’s products, delivery standards and email infrastructure.

Who?

Twilio is looking for an individual who lives the Twilio Magic and has a proven track record as an Email Delivery Consultant:

  • 4+ years of proven experience and/or in large scale email operations (sender, ESP, or receiver)
  • 3+ years in a customer consultative role
  • Excel, MySQL, Splunk, Hadoop (or similar)
  • Knowledge of global and regional data collection and handling requirements from both a legislative (CAN-SPAM, GDPR etc.) and receiver (Gmail, Microsoft etc.) perspective.
  • A passion for customers and problem solving
  • High level of initiative
  • Experience using 3rd-party delivery tools (Validity,, eDataSource, Litmus, Email On-Acid)
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, collaborative and persistent

As an Email Delivery Consultant, you will live the Twilio Magic values by:

  • EMPOWER OTHERS: Provide deliverability support and best practice education to our customers and internally. Be a team member who empowers the team around you.
  • WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES: Consult with customers on delivery topics including email authentication, abuse complaints, send strategy, segmentation, IP allocation, warm-up, reputation monitoring, and integration with the SendGrid platform. Make their problems your problems, and find the path forward.
  • BE AN OWNER:Track the overall health of your deliverability client portfolio, including revenue, renewals, CSAT, churn, and account health.
  • BE BOLD: Build strong industry relationships through MAAWG and other relevant industry associations that will enable Twilio to develop a leadership position in our industry
  • BE INCLUSIVE: Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment for your team members. Work in partnership with internal teams like Sales, Customer Success, and Product to inspire prospective customers and drive a better customer experience.
  • DRAW THE OWL: Think critically about what the team offers and how it executes. Propose and implement changes to systems and processes that drive success for our customers and our team.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.

Salary: 

Denver/Boulder Metro: 

$82,496 - $113,432

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
