Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Treasury Director to be a key leader in furthering our corporate treasury strategy, managing cash and our FX hedging program, performing daily treasury functions and assisting in the ongoing implementation of new programs and services globally to automate and improve business processes. This role will report to the Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasury, and will have a Manager as a direct report. This person will work closely with groups across the organization including Accounting, Finance, Tax, IR, Legal, and others. Twilio is a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for a candidate who is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong treasury background, including experience in FX, debt and equity capital markets, and cash management and forecasting.


Twilio is looking for a leader who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record in Treasury.  They also have:

  • 10+ years experience in treasury.
  • Strong accounting knowledge regarding treasury activities.
  • Experience with FX balance sheet and cash flow hedging strategies, preferably with multiple currencies.
  • A strong understanding of operational banking requirements, including both emerging and developed markets.
  • Strong understanding of cash management and corporate finance and accounting.
  • An ability to build effective relationships with our banking partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of attention to detail
  • BA/BS degree in finance, economics, accounting or equivalent experience required; MBA or CFA  highly preferred.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.


Denver/Boulder Metro:

Tier 4 base salary range: $146,240.00 to 201,080.00

Rest of Colorado:

Tier 5 base salary range: $137,100.00 to $188,512.50

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
