Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Director of Organizational Development to build and lead a high performance organization development team and practice for the company. Through deliberate organizational development and change management leadership, support, and guidance,  this person will enable the business and the people function to evolve more quickly and help to ensure Twilio gets better with scale.  Reporting the head of talent management, this person will set the vision and strategy needed to manage change across Twilion to further increase organizational effectiveness and performance. They will partner with HR and business leaders in the organization to facilitate large-scale, systemic changes to increase engagement and productivity. They will oversee the development of change management programs and plans to ensure the effective delivery of targeted, strategic initiatives across the company.

Who?

Twilio is looking for a leader who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of building and leading OD organizations.  They also have:

  • 12+ years of experience in organization development, organization effectiveness, and/or change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent and build a high performing team.
  • Expert knowledge in organizational change management or operational readiness consulting with a track record of leading successful change management projects
  • Strong business sense and ability to align change management approach to business needs, particularly for rapid growth, fast paced technology businesses
  • Ability to enroll leadership support and engagement and influence employee desire to adopt changes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly flexible, self-directed, and adapts well to change and accelerated timelines.
  • Master's degree in organizational development/organizational behavior. Related experience considered in lieu of education.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Tier 4 base salary range: $146,240.00 to 201,080.00

Rest of Colorado:

Tier 5 base salary range: $137,100 to $188,513.00

Non Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
