Leadfeeder is a fast growing international SaaS startup, headquartered in Helsinki. We are on a mission to bring web intelligence into business. Simply put, Leadfeeder helps companies know more about their website visitors, which enables them to convert promising visitors into sales leads.

Currently, Leadfeeder is a buzzing remote international team of 60+ people and more than ten nationalities, and we are hiring many key people around the world to strengthen our rapid growth.

We are looking for a talented User Experience Designer to join our engineering team. Our 20+ strong in-house, all-remote engineering team is responsible for developing new features, and otherwise improving and maintaining the Leadfeeder product. We are organized in feature-oriented, cross-functional squads. Each squad is responsible for specific features of the product and works tightly together with high autonomy. Depending on the product area, squads are comprised of Backend and Frontend Engineers, Designers, and are always paired with a Product Manager. We believe in listening to everyone's ideas and feedback – no matter what your role is, you get to have a say in the direction of the product and your squad.

You will do

  • Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, software engineers and business stakeholders representing the design team, facilitating design discussions and providing feedback
  • Making use of existing research and analytics as well as suggesting new research initiatives
  • Sketch out interactions and interfaces to help define new features and ideas, from pen & paper to wireframes to high-fidelity mockups
  • Iterate on ideas and feedback and decide on the most appropriate artefact which can be used for internal reviews and usability tests to advance a project
  • Share work early and often and seek out constructive feedback from peers, product teams, and other stakeholders
  • Participate and conduct user research to get input on designs and concepts, communicate insights to the teams to help them understand user problems
  • Work together with other designers to build and establish a consistent user interface and experience across the whole customer journey

You are

  • Passionate about the entire product development process: from researching and problem-solving to detailed interaction and user interface design
  • Able to think how to strategically roll out your designs in small steps to validate your assumptions
  • Able to work within an existing design system and know when to break out and create new, extensible patterns
  • Able to break big problems into smaller experiments to validate assumptions faster
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment

You should have

  • Strong understanding of interaction design, user experience and visual design
  • Experience designing digital SaaS products that solve real problems
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English to help people across the company understand the rationale behind your proposals
  • Proficient skills with the design software of your choice – we are not dogmatic about tools
  • Basic understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS & JavaScript
  • An online portfolio, or PDF that you can share with us to showcase your previous work

What we offer you

  • Competitive base pay
  • Possibility to work flexible and remotely for everyone (we do require a 4-hour overlap with European timezones)
  • Chance to shape how design influences software product development
  • Company gatherings twice a year somewhere around the world
  • International and diverse work atmosphere
  • Considerate, open-minded and supportive working environment
  • Interesting and growing field of business
