Filebase Channel Sales Manager

About the role:
Filebase is seeking a driven Channel Sales Manager reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will develop the strategy and vision for our channel strategy, collaborate with sales, marketing, alliances, and customer success teams to accelerate new routes to market and growth in our channel revenue.

We are looking for team members who have the grit to dig deeper, understand problems, and deliver innovative solutions, in a distributed and highly competitive market.

Ideally, we’re seeking someone who has the aspirations, drive and passion to represent Filebase one day on a Top-100 “channel-chief” list.

We want someone who can:

  • Lead our partner sales strategy and programs across all channel and partner motions

  • Recruit, hire and develop channel sales A-players to join a hyper-growth startup disrupting the object storage and cloud space.

  • Lead to drive a high performance, results-oriented culture

  • Refine, expand and improve our existing channel strategy and define the types of partnerships to build within specific market segments

  • Understand the Object Storage market, and work with a team of subject matters experts in cloud and object storage to grow awareness in the channel as thought leaders.

  • Embrace the complex and dynamic nature of the cloud object storage ecosystem, and position Filebase (and yourself) as a thought leader across traditional VARs, MSSPs, SIs and our technology/alliance partners

  • Get involved in the day-to-day of prospecting, selling, and training of new partners

  • Act as the voice of the channel throughout the organization across product, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration in driving partnerships

Does this sound like you?:

  • 3-5+ years of enterprise software channel experience with a track record of developing a personal, strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships with B2B/SaaS Companies

  • Experience building early-stage SaaS sales teams with an emphasis on new routes to market curation

  • A channel sales mindset with a fundamental understanding of the existing AWS and Object * Storage competitive landscape.

  • Strong track record consistently overachieving revenue goals within an early-stage startup environment.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset – Willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, “get it done” attitude

  • Strong EQ and IQ - Creative, analytical and very much in the details

  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
