Twilio is seeking a Globalization Sr. Program Manager that will act as a go-to person for translation and localization efforts, coordinating programs across Brand, Campaigns, Field Marketing & Product Marketing teams. This is an exciting role for an individual to set the localization strategy and build the practice on a global scale. This person will own day to day operational issues and requests, document processes, manage our global translation vendor and recommend optimization where needed. The ideal candidate brings expertise in localization and digital marketing, fluency working with translation platforms, and most importantly a passion for teamwork and collaboration.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in a globalization or localization role.
  • 5+ years of program management experience (or in a similar function).
  • Experience and/or implementation of localization and CMS systems (e.g. Wagtail, Mantra).
  • Experience managing localization vendors on a global scale.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communications skills; polished interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and collaborative - a real team player.
  • Energetic and self-motivated.
  • BA / BS or equivalent working experience.


Marketing departments depend on individuals that have an operational mindset and come to rely on their Program Manager to ensure all parties are aligned with the prioritized work.  

Expected Duties: 

  • Be an expert in the field of global translation and passionate about building processes that can scale to meet the needs of a high growth organization.
  • Support our localization infrastructure, including systems and processes, vendor and budget management, etc.
  • Design, implement, and oversee localization operations, onboarding tools (e.g. JIRA) to accelerate time to market.
  • Liaise between corporate and international stakeholders to oversee international digital projects (multimedia, campaigns, product launches, local promotions).
  • Build out quarterly roadmaps through dynamic vendor management, delivering consistent quality and upholding industry best practices.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 


Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $106,080-$132,600

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $99,840-$124,800

Sales Commission: Additionally, this role is eligible to earn commissions and eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

Non Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
