Hi! We're GorillaDesk.

We’ve built an amazing cloud-based software solution (SaaS) for field-service professionals—most notably, the pest control industry—that enables them to organize their business, impress their clients, and connect their team without breaking a sweat.

In fact, at the time of this posting, over 1,000 local service businesses trust GorillaDesk to help them quote, schedule, invoice, and get paid—faster!

Which means we've been able to achieve a rare combination of high double-digit annual growth and industry-leading profitability since our inception, five years ago.

That said, EOS is not unstructured: you will understand your current role and responsibilities.

Even though EOS is a lot to learn, we have a great onboarding process and the rest of our team will guide you through your first few months.


As our Growth Marketer / Funnel Builder, you’ll build full-scaled digital marketing campaigns that attract traffic, convert leads, and most importantly, close sales.

Specifically, some of your responsibilities will include:

Phase 1: Define what makes GorillaDesk unique, what makes it great, and why customers should care. By the end of this phase, you will have a clear vision and direction, and all the building blocks you need to build your first end-to-end sales funnel. The activities that will help you during this phase include:

  • Buyer Persona Identification
  • Sales Pitch Development
  • Brand Visual Development
  • Brand Messaging

Phase 2: Bridge the gap between GorillaDesk and the people who want to buy from us. Think of this phase as building a path from our website’s front door to a busy highway full of our ideal customers. The traction channels you can tap into during this phase include:

  • Content Marketing
  • Paid Search
  • Organic Search
  • Paid Social
  • Organic Social

Phase 3: Customer acquisition isn’t just about winning more business—it’s about making the process of converting leads and closing sales as simple, quick, and automated as possible. We want to scale our sales. The following return path channels should help you put our sales funnel on autopilot:

  • Email Marketing
  • Marketing Automation
  • Remarketing Ads
  • Conversion Rate Optimization

*We don’t expect you to do all these things. That’s silly and unrealistic. But we do expect you to take extreme ownership over the projects you work on.

As you might expect from a company that is so open, we also post our salary information right here in the job post.

If this description sounds like you, there’s a chance I’d like to offer you $50K - $75K in salary. Straight up cash money. I mean, it’d be in exchange for your professional services each year, but still.

You also get 6 company-wide holidays per year and 10 flexible paid time off days which can be used as you please. Go have fun. Don't work all the time.

Our goal is to offer the greatest work environment possible and pay people well enough to make it possible for them to join our team. Come learn our way of working, take on as many roles as you can, and establish yourself as a valuable player on our team.


We’ve found that the best candidates shine most when they can interact directly with our team and show their skills in action. This requires some work from you, so we’ll pay you to join the team during a “paid interview”.

Assuming your submission exceeds expectations, we will reach out to schedule a few informal conversations with our team to learn more about you, and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions of us.

If all goes well for both you and GorillaDesk, we will hire you for a paid interview where you work with us for approximately one week (12-15 hours max) as a 1099 contractor. You can do this on the side of your current full-time job so there is less risk to you.

If both parties enjoy working together, we will expand our relationship with you into a full-time W2 role. If not, we go our separate ways, both sides leaving “winners” in the deal.
