We’re looking for a Compensation Analyst to help drive our compensation programs and philosophy to support our overall people strategies.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Support our Sales and Field Operations functions with all elements of sales compensation programs, plan design and incentive structure management/development
  • Partner with HR and line management to identify and address compensation issues
  • Conduct deep research and analysis on compensation for client groups
  • Perform market pricing, analysis, recommendations and business partner education & communication
  • Assist in the planning and management of annual compensation processes and programs (e.g. STI, LTI, Annual Compensation Review)
  • Develop compensation communication materials, process mapping and trainings
  • Design and build compensation metrics, reports, and tools to inform compensation program decisions and forecast, report, and/or analyze compensation business outcomes
  • Consult compensation surveys and evaluate jobs to determine appropriate salary ranges and classifications
  • Assist in the design, development and maintenance of various compensation policies
  • Evangelize Elastic’s Compensation and Total Rewards Strategy
What You Bring Along:

  • A proficiency in optimizing processes and programs with a keen understanding of the balance between structure and flexibility
  • The dexterity to balance critical, long term thinking about how we scale and optimize our rapidly growing employee base in tandem with the development and execution of global people strategies

 And some of the basics:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience
  • Ninja or wizard like Excel skills. No mouse needed
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Strategic, critical thinker who isn’t afraid to get into the weeds; real passion for problem solving
  • Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization, influence behavior, and lead change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and sensitive situations
  • A sense of humor and ability to roll with the punches definitely a plus
  • Experience with a start-up environment is preferred
